When you save a picture from the X app or website, you usually get a compressed copy. BirdGrab asks X for the original upload instead: the same image the author posted, in its full resolution. How to download photos from an X post
- Copy the post link Open the post on X, tap the Share icon and choose Copy link.
- Paste it above Paste the link into the box at the top of this page.

How do I download all the photos of a post?
Paste the post's link and tap Download all. Your browser saves every photo as its own file; on iPhone you can save them together from the share sheet.
Are the photos in full resolution?
Yes. BirdGrab asks X for the original upload (the "orig" size), which is usually larger than what you see in the app.
Which format are the photos in?
The one they were posted in – mostly JPG, sometimes PNG or WebP.
Can I save a single photo from a post with several?
Yes. Every photo has its own button. If your link ends in /photo/2, that photo is marked for you.
Where do the photos go?
Into your browser's downloads: the Downloads folder on a computer or Android phone, and the Files app on iPhone and iPad.
Can I save profile pictures or banners?
Not with this tool: it saves the photos attached to a post. Paste the link of a post, not of a profile.
Is it free?
Yes, BirdGrab is free and has no download limits.
Can I download photos from protected accounts?
No. Only posts that are publicly visible on X can be downloaded.
